
Julian Rodríguez Vargas, originally from Zipaquirá, Cundinamarca, is a mechanical engineer and independent entrepreneur in the logistics and electric forklift industry. He is passionate about automobiles and adventure cycling. At the age of 26, he faced a life-threatening heart condition that profoundly transformed his outlook on life, inspiring him to embark on extensive journeys across the Americas.
Through his travels—covering more than 100,000 kilometers by bicycle and car—he has explored diverse cultures and landscapes throughout the continent. He is the author of Ruta 56, a book that chronicles his remarkable journey in a World War II Willys Jeep from Bogotá to Tierra del Fuego and back, traveling through every country in South America.
