
Founder and director of the Cayeye Films Foundation, an organization created in 2008 in Colombia with the objective of developing, producing, and distributing audiovisual projects in Latin America and the Caribbean with a gender, environmental, and territorial perspective.
He has been a beneficiary of training and support programs from IBERMEDIA, INCAA (Argentina), Latin Union (France), the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), the SGAE Foundation (Spain), and is a member of EGEDA Colombia.
He has produced and directed audiovisual and cultural cooperation projects in co-production with Brazil, Spain, Colombia, Argentina, Belgium, and the United States.
He was selected by the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) to participate in the Visitors Co-Production Market Program.
He has served as a jury member for the Audiovisual Calls of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications (MINTIC), the TAL International Television Awards of Latin America, and as a voting member of the India Catalina Awards of the Cartagena International Film Festival. He has also participated as a juror in the Arts and Culture Promotion Grants of the Medellín Mayor’s Office, the Stories of Peace Writing Competition of the Ministry of Education, among others.
He currently directs the Creative Production and Distribution Laboratory for Audiovisual Projects of Young Women Filmmakers/Producers from the Caribbean and Latin America – CARIBESUR LAB, organized by the Cayeye Center of the Cayeye Films Foundation and supported by the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Knowledge and EGEDA Colombia. He is also the director of the JUGLARA Traveling Festival, a territorial program focused on audiovisual circulation and audience development in regions affected by the internal armed conflict.
He holds graduate studies in Cultural Management from the University of Buenos Aires and is pursuing a Doctorate in Arts at UNTREF (Argentina).
