🎓 Instructor: Prof. Lydia Bautista Moller, trained by the renowned Spanish Enneagram scholar Rev. Carlos Arrizabalaga, brings over 40 years of experience in personality theory, spiritual development, and the Enneagram system.
💻 To complete the coursework and earn 3 credits, 30 hours of asynchronous work, based on readings and reflection essays, will be required.
Course Description
Introduction to Personality This intensive course explores the core fundamentals of personality theory, with a focused application of the Enneagram of Personality—a transformative framework for understanding self and others. Students will engage in a critical analysis and reflection of their own personality structure and examine how it shapes their social interactions and relationships.
Course Learning Outcomes
- Explain the structure and function of the Enneagram system, including the nine personality types, wings, centers of intelligence, and levels of development.
- Analyze their personality type using the Enneagram framework, supported by reflective assessments and theoretical grounding.
- Evaluate the impact of personality on human behavior, communication styles, and interpersonal dynamics across social, academic, and professional settings.
- Develop greater empathy and understanding of others through recognizing the diversity of personality patterns and coping mechanisms.
- Formulate strategies for personal growth, improved relationship management, and conflict resolution based on Enneagram insights.
- Integrate course concepts into future academic, coaching, counseling, or leadership work for holistic personal and professional development.
